What goes with Gin?
London Dry gin is a water-and-ethanol distillate defined in the kitchen by a juniper-led botanical profile. Citrus peel, coriander seed, angelica and other botanicals vary with the producer, so the spirit is not a single fixed flavour. It contributes aroma and alcohol with very little body or sweetness, unlike sweetened gin liqueurs or a complete gin-and-tonic mixture.

Pairing principles
What pairs well with Gin?
Citrus, cucumber, elderflower and salmon are comfortable partners when gin is kept proportionate. Creamy or buttery preparations can support its botanical warmth, while browned grains offer a more unusual dry counterpoint. Keep bitterness from tonic, citrus pith and char in check: stacking those sensations can overwhelm the fragrant character that made the gin attractive.
